Sidney De Haan Research Centre for Arts and Health: East Kent "Singing for Health" Network Project

The De Haan Centre has developed and evaluated an innovative community singing initiative involving people with a history of severe and enduring mental health problems and professional and family supporters. A network of seven singing groups was established between September 2009 and June 2010 in towns across East Kent, UK.

AIRS 3rd Annual Meeting in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador: July 9–13, 2011

We are pleased to announce that the AIRS 3rd Annual Meeting will take place in conjunction with Festival 500, The Phenomenon of Singing Symposium, and the International Council of Choral Conductors, in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador. The dates of the AIRS meeting and technical program will be July 10–11, with the Policy and Planning meeting on July 9th. An AIRS Plenary will also be presented on July 13th at a joint meeting of all 3 organizations. Forms for abstract submission and student travel to be posted soon.
