Competiton ACRI - Young Investigators Training Program (under 40) - Aesthetics of Emotions: Arts and Cognitive Science.

This competition aims to award 13 one-month research visit fellowships in Italy to as many young investigators of any nationality carrying out research outside of Italy.

For students and interested AIRS researchers - a video conference on how to ingest or upload a file or video to AIRS Digital Library will be held online on Tuesday, March 8, 2016. Other topics covered include DL structure, content types, resource access levels, editing metadata, and searching the Digital Library. Introduction to IRCAM

IRCAM is a non-profit organization that is associated to the Centre  Pompidou (Centre national d’art et de culture Georges Pompidou). Its missions comprise research, production, and education related to contemporary music and its relation to science and technology. Within the R&D department specialized teams are conducting research and development in the areas of acoustics, sound signal processing, interaction, computer music and musicology. The present position is available in the analysis/synthesis team that conducts research on advanced algorithms for speech and music signal processing. IRCAM is located in the centre of Paris near the Centre Pompidou, at 1, Place  Igor Stravinsky 75004 Paris.
